Step 1. Introduce the "Write To Know" activity after downloading topic suggestions from the networks.

INTRODUCTION

This area is used to get the attention of the reader and give the reader an idea of the author’s opinion. The author could use shocking statistics or anecdotal experiences to make topic more relevant to the reader. It is suggested not to express the opinion on the topic is this location.

BODY

Student arguments will be developed in this location. A "Fair Balance" needs to be used in the presentation. Develop an Endnote System to reference all statistics and direct quotes used in the paper.

CONCLUSION

Students will clearly state their opinions while summarizing the high points of the argument.

BIBLIOGRAPHY

List all references used in the research (Magazine, Volume, Date, Article Title, Author and Page Number).

ENDNOTE

List all statistics and direct quotes in the paper by using a standard footnote/endnote system. Normally the number assigned to the quote, Magazine, Date, Article Title, Author and Page Number are listed.

NETWORKING

Step 2. Step 3. After the papers have been posted, students are to read the papers and complete the "Critique Form" for each individual paper.  All critiques are E-Mailed to the student's web mail accounts at www.cchsigs.org:3000
