History of

IGS Foundation was established in 1989. Its first major project was the start of S.C.O.R.E. camp. The I.G.S. foundation is affiliated with Chase County Schools in Imperial, Nebraska. The Foundation also provides teacher grants to faculty at Chase County Schools, assists with equipment purchases, has sponsored F.A.M.E. (a fine arts camp) for two years, and is active in promoting new and exciting educational opportunities for youth and adults. The Goal of Imperial Grade School Foundation is to continue to offer S.C.O.R.E. to youth for many years to come. Future plans are to offer a new outdoor/nature camp called S.C.O.R.E. T.A.C. (Team Adventure Camp) along with S.C.O.R.E. camps for grades 1-6 on alternating years for as long as possible. Financial support for the I.G.S. Foudation is provided by donations, grants, community/business sponsorships, and student tuition.
