This scholarship is being offered by the Andrew Kinder VFW Post #4688 Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW, Imperial, NE, to assist graduating seniors and/or past graduates in their pursuit of a college education.
The amount of the scholarship will be $250.00 and the recipient will be determined by the officers of the VFW Post #4688 Ladies Auxiliary. The recipient will be required to complete one semester of college and produce transcripts showing passing grades for that semester. The scholarship will then be sent directly to the college of the student.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be a direct descendant of a current or former Honorable Discharged member of the United States Armed Forces. The member must be a father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, brother, sister, child, or spouse.
